Drake concert gets ugly

- A free concert by hip hop It boy Drake and pop group Hanson exploded into a near-riot last evening at New York's South Street Seaport when police shut down the event due to overcrowding. According to Fox News New York (via Billboard), angry concertgoers began throwing bottles and chairs when police attempted to disperse the audience of more than 25,000-- about 10,000 more than organizers expected.

All in all it was a fabulous evening, thankfully we are thrilled we overlooked this stupendous affair. Let’s hope Drake reminds us to turn up next time he drops by along with the 69 000 people who will be there too…
