- As expected, rising rap superstar Drake reached the top of the Billboard charts with his debut album "Thank Me Later." The 447,000 copies sold made it the third best week of the year, behind Sade and Lady Antebellum. Tom Petty also had an impressive bow with "Mojo," selling 125,000 copies, his best debut since Soundscan started tracking numbers. Eminem is expected to knock Drake from the top spot next week.
- Want to see classic performance footage of bands such as Minor Threat, Rites of Spring, Fugazi, Bad Brains, Bikini Kill and more? You'll want to be at Affinity Labs in Adams Morgan tonight where Mark Andersen, co-author of harDCore history book "Dance of Days" will be screening this rare footage. The event is free, but donations are accepted and will be given to local non-profit We Are Family.
