Goodbyes: We blog to keep from crying

Sad, sad news from the land of Click Track: Our beloved contributors Ally Schweitzer and Sarah Godfrey will be leaving us to join the new gang assembling across the Potomac at

Sarah Godfrey has been writing for the Post since 2004 and has contributed some of the finest music journalism to ever grace our pages. She wrote about Kanye West when he was still dressing like a mall rat, she profiled hometown hero Raheem Devaughn as he approached new heights and she remains a hyper-talented music scribe who can go from an Ashford & Simpson gig to an Ashlee Simpson gig without blinking. We will miss her terribly -- and we'll be reading her every keystroke at TBD.

Ally Schweitzer has worked at the Post as an editorial aide for a few years, but Click Track readers know her for her smart takes on the blog's morning headlines and the insightful criticism she's brought to our concert coverage. She's alerted us to soon-to-be-BIG artists (like Francis and the Lights) and taken us dancing at "party o'clock" with German techno maestros (like Michael Mayer). With Ally around, every hour at the Post felt like party o'clock. She'll be sorely missed when she heads off next week.

Good luck, guys! See you on the softball field!

The rest of you, keep your eyes on these two and bookmark right now.
