Matador announced 21st b-day celebration; Pitchfork launches spin-off blog; Sen. Robert Byrd's album to be reissued

-Matador Records has announced the line-up for it's 21st anniversary celebration this October in Las Vegas, including performances by Yo La Tengo, Belle & Sebastian, Sonic Youth, and Guided By Voices. If you attended a liberal arts college at some point during the last two decades, some band you love is playing this thing.
-Come July 7th, indie-music behemoth "Pitchfork" will launch "Altered Zones," a spin-off site dedicated to left-field and experimental music.
-County Records, a Virginia-based record label plans to reissue, "Mountain Fiddler," a bluegrass album recorded by U.S. Sen. Robert Byrd, who passed away Monday at 92.
