Prepare to hear Michael Jackson songs like you've never heard them before

If you follow Click Track's David Malitz and I on Twitter, (follow us!), you know how we feel about the exquisite sound at U Street Music Hall. The recently opened dance club boasts the finest P.A. system in the city, pumping bass frequencies so deep, so pure, they feel almost religious.
Nowadays, when it comes to dance music, I feel like I haven't really heard a song until I've heard it at U Hall. And that should make tonight's event at the club, located in the basement of 1115 U St. N.W., all the more fascinating.
Local music website True Genius Requires Insanity is hosting "Michael Jackson is Still Alive" -- five hours of DJs pushing Jackson's storied discography through the speakers. DJs include locals Harry Hotter, Chris Nitti and D Painter, Baltimore's James Nasty and Delaware's DJ Bis.
The event runs from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. tonight and is totally free. For more information, check out the U Street Music Hall website right here.
