Clicky shuffle: Random songs for Tuesday morning
By David Malitz
Spoon never plays anything off of debut album "Telephono" anymore, which makes sense since its agitated, Pixies-esque tunes don't really fit with the new, sleeker sound. I'm hoping they break out a few songs from it at the Matador 21st anniversary show in October, since it is the only LP they released on the label.
Spoon, "The Government Darling"
Gram Parsons, "Kiss the Children"
The Exploding Hearts, "Busy Signals"
R.E.M., "It's the End of the World As We Know It (And I Feel Fine)"
Dan Deacon, "Snookered"
