Coda: FreeFest frenzy; Chuck Brown meets Chips Ahoy; Chromeo talks Hall & Oates

t.i.T.I. is part of FreeFest's impressive lineup.

It was all about FreeFest this week at Click Track. The mighty impressive lineup - featuring M.I.A., LCD Soundsystem, T.I. and Pavement - was revealed on Tuesday, we gauged our excitement, then picked some non-headlining acts that could be show-stealers. If you missed out on pre-"sale" tickets this morning, the majority of tickets will be given away tomorrow at 10 a.m. Remember that there is a two-ticket limit per household. Chromeo will be performing at FreeFest, and also at 9:30 club next week. We talked to them about Hall & Oates and Prince. Chuck Brown in a cookie commercial? Believe it. Levon Helm was a touch underwhelming at Wolf Trap; same with Jack Johnson at Merriweather, but isn't that sort of the point? And we'll remind you of the review of Rick Ross's new "Teflon Don" and also link to his calendar.. See you next week!
