-Jennifer Lopez has put the kibosh on a show in the Turkish-controlled north of Cyprus. The performance came under fire from Greek Cypriots, who started an online campaign calling for the gig to be canceled.
-D.C.-based rapper Wale--who has been flying low since the release of his debut album, "Attention Deficit," last year--has announced that he's got a new mixtape coming. The tape, "More About Nothing," will hit the internet August 3rd.
-Just a reminder: Tomorrow is the day to pick up tickets for the Kennedy Center concert series "An American Playlist: Three Evenings Celebrating the Performing Arts." Tickets will be distributed at the Kennedy Center's Hall of Nations on a first-come, first-served basis beginning at 9 a.m. Want to see ?uestlove and Black Thought, Branford Marsalis, Smokey Robinson, or John Mayer. Well, now you know where to get in line.
