- "Are we human, or are we dancer?" That was the question when the Killers performed at the White House's Independence Day celebration on the South Lawn, Sunday. The concert honored active-duty members of the military and their families and also included performances from comedian Cedric the Entertainer and singer Brandi Carlile.
- R&B songstress Melanie Fiona bailed on her July 14 show at the Black Cat over the weekend. Could the great-summer-concert-cancellation-macro-fiasco-of-2010 be trickling down the club level?
