-Yesterday R&B singer Mary J. Blige told ABC's "Good Morning America" that she plans on hitting the books at Howard University. Then again, maybe not. Officials at the school hinted that her announcement may have been premature.
-6 Music lives. Last March the BBC announced plans to shut down its digital music station, but has reconsidered following a groundswell of public support.
-R&B singer and Marvin Gaye-mentor Harvey Fuqua has passed away. The singer made his name as member of the doo-wop troupe the Moonglows.
