Sugar Minott R.I.P.; Phosphorescent's gear stolen; Carrie Underwood weds hockey player

-Reggae singer and producer Sugar Minott has passed away. Minott was a member of the trio the African Brothers and also had a successful solo career during the 1970s, with songs like "Vanity" and "Mr. DC." He was 54.
-Reverb-soaked indie-country band Phosphorescent had its van, instruments, and merchandise stolen from outside a residence in Greenpoint, Brooklyn on Friday. A donation page has been set up to help replace the band's gear.
-Country singer and "American Idol"-champ Carrie Underwood married Ottawa Senators hockey player Mike Fisher on Saturday in a ceremony held at a Greensboro, Georgia resort.
