Sade skipping D.C. on 2011 tour -- what gives?

Awesome news - Sade is going on tour for the first time in 10 years!
Not-at-all awesome news - she's completely skipping D.C.!
How is this possible? The resurgent R&B star, whose latest album "Soldier of Love" is one of the year's best, has a huge fanbase in the nation's capital. Yet the city is absent from the list of 10 officially announced dates and isn't listed among the 25 cities that will get shows later in 2011.
Really? Milwaukee gets a Sade show and D.C. doesn't? Charlotte?? Calgary?!?! It's cool that she's kicking off the tour in Baltimore (June 26, 2011 -- mark your calendar), but this is still unacceptable. I think Chris Richards is already starting the petition...

Probably something big going on at the VCenter that week. We're only getting 1 Roger Waters show because the arena is so busy the rest of the time he's nearby.
