Coda: Mary Timony's new supergroup; debating Belle & Sebastian; for the love of free CDRs

wild flagWe're excited for Wild Flag. (Merge Records)

This week on Click Track: We talked to Mary Timony about Wild Flag, her newest musical venture. Any new music from Timony is reason to get excited; the fact that she'll now be making noise with members of Sleater-Kinney just makes it even more awesome. The merits of twee-pop icons Belle & Sebastian were debated. The band's Thursday concert went exactly as you'd expect. Deerhunter proved itself on the big stage. Raul Malo and La Excelencia also played memorable shows. Local rappers Wale, Fat Trel, Black Cobain and go-go stalwarts UCB took over U Street Music Hall on Tuesday night and Chris Richards left with some nice CDRs. And we finished the week by asking Alice Cooper about the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Lady Gaga.
