Lady Antebellum scores more AMA nods than Lady Gaga; Christina Aguilera and husband separate
Lada A tied Eminem for the most AMA nods. (Kyle Gustafson/FTWP)

- Lady Antebellum beat out Lady Gaga when the American Music Awards announced its list of 2010 nominees on Tuesday. The country-pop trio tied Eminem for the most nominations with five. Justin Bieber scored four while Lady Gaga only had two. The AMAs will be televised live from Los Angeles on Nov. 21.
- It's been rough year for Christina Aguilera. After her recent album "Bionic" failed to make much of a dent on the pop charts, the singer has announced that she's splitting with her husband of five years, Jordan Bratman.
- Are our attention spans getting shorter? Or are our standards getting higher? In an interesting stroke of marketing, rapper Nelly released a six-song greatest hits collection on iTunes Tuesday, titled "6 Pack." Is this the dawn of the greatest-of-the-greatest-hits-collection era? (We definitely could have dealt with a seven-pack if it included "Flap Your Wings.")

"Lady Antebellum" has to be the worst band name in the history of band names, and that's saying something.

As antebellum means "before the Civil War" and before the Civil War there was slavery, then this country group is a racist group full of card-carrying members of the Ku Klux Klan. So to all of you racist fans of Lady Slavery in sheets and hoods, go to you know where.
