Week ahead: Waka Flocka drops "Flockaveli"; Glasser breezes into D.C.; Staples and Tweedy reunite on "Letterman"
By Chris Richards
If you buy one album tomorrow, make it: "Flockaveli" by Mssr. Waka Flocka Flame. A rowdier rap album in 2010 you shall not hear.
If you go to one show this week, make it: Cameron Mesirow, a.k.a. Glasser, when the New Age-y songbird opens for indie R&B weirdos Gayngs at Black Cat on Tuesday.
And if you stay up late to watch one artist on TV this week, make it: The lovely Mavis Staples when she performs on "Letterman" Tuesday with Jeff Tweedy of Wilco.
