Paramore regroups with new members; WKYS names top 10 DMV rappers; Muse wants to play in outer space

By David Malitz

- Less than a month after the controversial exits of founding members Josh and Zac Farro, Paramore is back at it. The Hayley Williams-led pop-punk band has added guitarist Justin York and drummer Josh Freese (Guns N' Roses, Nine Inch Nails) to its temporary ranks.

- Local radio station WKYS recently completed its countdown of the DMV's 10 Hottest Rappers. Unsurprisingly, Wale topped the list, with Phil Ade, Diamond District, Tabi Bonney and Kingpen Slim rounding out the top five.

- Muse frontman Matthew Bellamy would like to send himself to outer space. That makes two of us.

- Rapper Waka Flocka Flame surrendered to authorities on gun, drug and gang-related charges two weeks after his house was raided.

- Interesting tweet from yesterday: "S/O to @Wale "More About Nothing." Crazy homie! Keep it going. DC what's good." That was from LeBron James.

I wanted to make the Muse and Kings of Leon should be crammed into a rocket and shot at the sun joke. Oh wait. Guess I just did.
