Week ahead: Azari & III get reckless at U Hall; Danny Brown does Detroit proud; Merle Haggard visits Leno
If you go to one concert this week, make it: Toronto's Azari & III at U Street Music Hall on Friday. Be sure to request their neo-house anthem "Reckless With Your Love" -- streaming above. But if you're a drunk Steelers fan and you request "Black and Yellow," you will be thrown out.
If you buy one album tomorrow, make it: Detroit rapper Danny Brown, whose raw-throated 2010 mixtape "The Hybrid" will be released in album form on iTunes. Preview it here.
And if you stay up late to watch one artist on TV this week, make it: the legendary Merle Haggard when he visits Jay Leno, Tuesday. Will he mosey over to Jay's desk for a question or two after his performance? And if so, will he talk about this?
