MoJo -- The Future of D.C. Wire?

Your D.C. Wire correspondents just got out of a meeting with editors from washingtonpost.com about how to take video for the blog. You'll begin to see it pop up in the next few weeks in this space. For us, this is another step in the evolution of how we do our jobs. It reminds me of a great story by Post staff writer Frank Ahrens about a newspaper in Florida whose correspondents were called "mojos" -- for "mobile journalist." The job basically entailed just driving around to meetings and events all day long and filing short takes instantly from the car for the Web site. We hope to provide a fuller picture than that, but we all can empathize with that poor guy a little better now.
