Moving Parts

Mayor Adrian M. Fenty was making moves yesterday, shifting positions and people like pieces on a chess board.
Erik Moses was named the new chief executive of the D.C. Sports and Entertainment Commission. Moses had been the director of the Department of Small and Local Business Development.
Fenty tapped Nicole Becton to fill Moses' vacated post at the business agency. Becton had been the agency's general counsel and director of policy and planning.
The mayor also announced that Greg O'Dell will serve as chief executive and general manager of the Walter E. Washington Convention Center. O'Dell had worked as the chief executive of the sports and entertainment commission.
