Just got back to my office from Caps training camp. What impressed me the most is Ovechkin's work rate. The guy was hustling all through the first practice session. Clearly the hardest worker and a fine example for the rest of the team. And way better than any overpriced superstar that mails it in.

The kid has the ability to lead by example. In a few years time, he'll be wearing the 'C'. Not because it was handed to him, but because he's earned it.
