Major Bog Public Service: Free Gilbert Hoodie Posters

[Edit: Posters all gone, sorry. Next time my standards will drop, and I'll pick up some of the beer-soaked posters as well, just to make everyone happy.]

Ok, if you want a poster send me an e-mail with Gilbert Poster in the subject line, and include your mailing address. Unless someone who pays the bills at The Post objects, I'll send 'em off to the first 25 e-mailers. Sorry this took so long, I wasn't in front of a computer for a while. Also, if you got a Gilbert Donut Poster it might be a sporting thing to let someone else have a crack, but my memory's not good enough to remember if you did or if you didn't.

As before, most of them are in pretty good shape, although a few have scuffed corners.

I'm not sure exactly what's pictured here. Judge for yourself. Some said it looked like a Tupac homage. Others said it looked like an Obi-Wan Kenobi homage. Others suggested that perhaps he was recreating his outfit from the home opener, when he dressed like a boxer-slash-wizard.

Poster 3 of 4. Somehow I missed No. 2. And sorry about the glare. (By Sports Bog)

In an effort to wring a few more words out of this post, let me also provide a shoe update. Gilbert, through a PR person, confirmed that the green shoes were not one-offs and should be available commercially. (There was some debate about this point.) I asked a few Wizards today what they thought.

"For walking around in, unless you've got some green uniforms," Antawn Jamison said. "We've got blue-and-white uniforms, and he's got green shoes on. It kind of looked...different. That's how it goes. They're all right, though."

"I liked 'em a lot," DeShawn Stevenson said. "First thing you looked at was his shoes.

I considered wallpapering my office with the posters but am going to go ahead and let someone else enjoy the swag.

But why the $200 price tag?

Yes, why the $200 tag? Please Mr. Bog, get on this. I need those shoes!

Do they give any advance notice when they're giving these out? They're not on the promotional schedule on the team website. Or are these surprise giveaways, like the Agent Zero shirts?
