Searching for Big Gheorghe Apparel
Not sure whether this question is in jest or not, and if it's not in jest not sure why it was addressed to me and not The Wizznutzz, but here it is, from a Bog reader apparently in need:
I haven't even been able to find any Gheorghe Muresan apparel new or used. Do you have any suggestions on where to look? I'd really appreciate any insight or help you could give me.

Might this work?
I guess I'll ask Gheorghe next time I see him, but does anyone have any special suppliers of vintage Wiz gear? This "Where can I get a Muresan Jersey?" link was certainly no help. eBay has a spiffy Muresan wall clock that I'd gladly hang in my home, but no jerseys. Gheorghe the Blog really ought to offer shirts, but doesn't. This guy wanted to run a marathon in a GM jersey, but there's indication whether he succeeded. One promising link that I followed ended up showing me a whole bunch of topless women, which was embarrassing, since I'm in the Wizards press room, but of course, embarrassing is relative in this room; one Bog regular in here is wearing a sweatshirt that says "The joy only bling can bring," and Triple X correspondent George Croom just said the following line, on air, about Gilbert:
Nasty. Disgusting. Some would even say he has no conscience.
I would add "nauseating," "stomach-turning," "vomit-inducing," and "smells like cat urine," but that's just me. Anyhow, please to be posting your Muresan advice.

I've put the underpants gnomes to work on this...

I have a game-worn Muresan jersey (Wizards "blue" version). I am 6'3" and it hangs below my knees. If the guy seeking such apparel wants to make an offer, he may do so, but it would have to blow me away to convince me to part with it.

weve locked ken beatrice in the mothering hut with 400 thread count romanian boar yarn and a ziploc of KLONOPIN® and told him not to emerge until he has a Gheorge Teeshirt for motheringhut.com! Check back soon!

Forget the clothing, I want a vile of his Snickers ad-era cologne ("is that cabbage?").

UM - Buck and Phil were all over those guys all game long on tv. Especially about the moving screen by Utah (forget who set it, but I think Boozer) where AD got called for a foul.

I wish I had gotten one of those orange Bullets jerseys from last year. oh well, at least I still have my lifesize Manute Bol tshirt jersey that they had as a kid's giveway back at the Cap Center when I was little.

I don't read blogs of any kind, ever...And that's because I'm old and my reading habits are already set. I may have to even write a blog soon, though I have no idea what the real difference between a blog and a column is. But let me say this about Dan...I think he's the future of the printed sports word. He's very good at taking in a broadening sports audiance...and it's going to be interesting to see how the readership of traditional columns vs. blogs evolves in the coming years.

tmc- it was boozer and he was sticking his leg out all night long. i stood up and actually took two steps closer to the court to scream at derosa. normally i wouldn't get so worked up but they weren't going to call anything until boozer went knee to knee with one of our guys.

I have two Muresan jerseys...a Bullets-era one, and a Wizards-era one, but they are my traditional "Going to the Bullets game" garb, and are not for sale! Maybe try ebay?

"since I'm in the Wizards press room"
any chatter on yesterday's officiating crew? joe derosa was absolutely awful and mark davis wasn't any better (until he rewarded the wiz with a couple of deserved makeup calls).
