Crazy (and Awesome) Betting Lines
I found myself thinking the other day, "You know, I have a strong feeling that Joakim Noah will have more rebounds than Samuel Dalembert on Saturday." It was weird, because Sam Dalembert plays for the 76ers, and Noah plays for Florida.
Don't you wish you could bet on things like that? Well, you can. And a whole lot of other things. A few best personal bets from that Bodog link:
-Corey Brewer for MVP at 11-1
-Greg Oden's blocks and fouls trumping Andre Miller's assists
-Georgetown scoring first
-Roy Hibbert +3 to score more than Greg Oden
-Mike Conley over 13 1/2 points
-Taureen Green under 13 1/2 points
The lines for the games: Georgetown is favored by 1.5 points and Florida is giving 3.5. I'm a little surprised that Georgetown is favored, just because I imagine much of the riff-raff in Vegas will like the idea of betting on Greg Oden. Both games, coincidentally, have an over-under of 131.
What say you, readership? Any of those props jump out at you?
Also, internet gambling is now illegal in the U.S., yet encouraged by the Bog, anyway.
