Orioles Mustaches

Having talked so extensively about playoff beards, even including repeated linkages to PlayoffBeard.com, I'd be remiss if I ignored the Orioles mustaches, even if this technically has little to do with the NBA. Via FanHaus, I discovered that the bullpen began sporting unity mustaches, and that position players followed suit. Which means after I shave my playoff beard, I might need to preserve the 'stache, out of Oriole unity. From the Sun:

"You like it? It looks kind of trashy," John Parrish said.

The relievers got the idea from bullpen catcher Orlando Gomez, who has hair above his lip and some influence on the pitchers.

"It feels kind of funny," Parrish said. "I've never had one this long."

Great quote, that.

Nice!

I love Mustaches and the Orioles.

I wonder what the lovable Nats are doing, their pitching could use some Jobu.
