Gilbert Arenas = Daniel Snyder
One thing that I learned this week: Gilbert Arenas and Daniel Snyder both drive Maybachs. I'm not enough of a car person to tell you any more than that.

Gilbert's car, parked inside a playground in Southeast.
But I can tell you that I took a photo of Gilbert's two-toned Maybach last night at Barry Farms, where, as promised, he showed up for a Goodman League game and logged major minutes. A long report on the game and Gilbert's performance will follow later.
No, Kevin Durant did not appear, sadly. No, Gilbert did not grant me an interview, sadly. No, the Goodman League PR folks don't have greater sway over Gilbert, in terms of post-game interviews, than the Wizards PR folks do, sadly.
Mister Snyder's car, meanwhile, was parked outside the front of Redskins Park for, like, at least an hour the other day. While running. I guess this is something of a habit of his that's been previously reported--keeping the interior cool and breezy, presumably--but it's still something of a startling sight, an empty car just sitting there, running, as the minutes tick by.

Mister Snyder's car, parked outside a playground in Ashburn.
Before my 1996 Dodge Caravan was stolen and crashed and filled with empty liquor bottles, I used to sit in it, parked but running, as I'd write some of my stories. And I wouldn't be surprised if a 1996 Dodge Caravan is worse for the environment than a Maybach. So I'm not going to hate here; just trying to appreciate.
