Another Vacation? Seriously?
Sorry, but I have all this genuine Washington Post issued vacation time that will disappear if I don't use it this month. I'm off this week. Some powers-that-be were unsure about continuing the Guest Bogger experiment, so this space will be dark for one and only one more week. Aug. 27 will kick off the busiest two months of the local sports calendar. I promise to cover the heck out of Caps and Wizards training camps and local college hoops media days, plus probably some more competitive eating events. In the meantime, I'm off to the Buffalo Botanical Gardens, which promises viewers a chance to see a real Bog. Seriously.

Earlier in the day, I was worried you were at a party in Orange County Florida.

You should use your Buff influence to get Luke Russert to join in on the Bog Show sometime. I hear he has tons of experience re: sports.

Ooooh, oooh, let Tim Russert fill in for you.

Happy Vacation...

Dan;
If you get a chance with Tim Russert, make sure you ask him why he ran like a "spoiled woman" after the Imus/Rutgers mess. I think 'ol Tim owes Imus about half of everything he's got the way he's sold his books on his radio show.

The Orioles give up 30 and the Bog is on vacation.......

Should we expect the 10:1 ratio of Wizards to Caps Bog articles to still hold?
Hi Caphcky!
