Red Sox Park at Camden Yards

Estimates of the percentage of Red Sox fans in Camden Yards over the weekend range from, I don't know, 68 percent to 94 percent. It was an attendance record for a three-game series at Camden.

Terry Francona: "It's like Boston in the south."

Kevin Youkilis: It's definitely almost like playing a home game here."

Baltimore Sun: "The Boston fans' presence seemed even more pronounced than usual yesterday. During the crowd's rendition of "Take Me Out to the Ballgame," it seemed more people than not yelled, "root, root, root for the Red Sox." Orioles spokesman Bill Stetka had no comment on the throng of Red Sox fans.

In other news, Red Sox Monster is heckling The Loss Column for crying uncle on its Take Back the Yard night, and the Free the Birds movement is having trouble gearing up for Year Two. I think I speak for a lot of people who were at that walk-out game last year when I say it was actually more fun leaving early and chanting and holding signs and going across the street to grab a refreshing beverage than it would have been to watch a bunch of eighth-inning foul balls, but maybe that was just a one-time thing. Anyhow, here is the shame from the weekend.

Stuff like the weekend and when the Yankees go to B'more tend to happen when YOUR TEAM SUCKS.

Dude's got it wrong. I didn't cry uncle, I just pointed out the obvious.

This is what happens when one team's harbor is better than yours.

At least the O's took the series (first time in 11 tries, what!), and Gagne looked like a chump...Nice pick up Boston.

Go Birds and Hail!
