Marcus Washington Still Plans to Play

Before practice this afternoon, Marcus Washington said he's still taking reps and going about the week as if he will be playing on Sunday. He also said he thinks he could still contribute in a pass-rushing roll this weekend, but that such a decision would be up to the coaches.
"They got to tell me in practice sometimes, 'Marcus, um, just be smart,'" he said. A lot of times it's hard. It's hard to play football and also trying to be like 'I can't hurt this, I gotta make this.' You can't really think about that."
I asked whether it was obvious when his elbow popped out; "Oh yeah," he said. "You could tell when it's popped out, if you would have saw it."
He's been told that the elbow is now back in there pretty securely and should not be at risk of popping back out. "That's what they're telling me," he said. "Now Sunday, if you see me walking around and it looks like it's out again...."
By the way, he once dislocated a finger and said that pain was worse than the dislocated elbow.
"I had to get a shot to get the finger put back in," he said. "It got, like, stiff, and I didn't want to touch it. It was just kind of hanging there."
Sounds awesome.
