This Week's Vegas Oddsmakers' Top 25
Las Vegas Sports Consultants, which helps advise sports books on initial betting lines, ranks the nation's top 30 college football teams. Some notes from this week's new poll.
Biggest frauds, according to Vegas: Clemson is ranked at least five spots too high by the AP. Rutgers is ranked six spots too high. Wisconsin is ranked seven spots too high.
Biggest sleepers, according to Vegas: Nebraska is ranked seven spots too low by the AP, as is Missouri. Florida State is ranked 12 spots too low. Arizona State is ranked 14 spots too low. Miami and BYU are also considerably undervalued by the AP.
Vegas looked smart when: South Carolina, which Vegas has ranked above Georgia all season, pulled out the impressive road win. The AP had Georgia 11th and South Carolina 33rd. Also, Vegas has been cooler on Wisconsin than the AP all year, and the Badgers struggled a bit at UNLV (appropriately).
Vegas looked dumb when: Miami got mauled at Oklahoma; Vegas had the U ranked 15th last week. Oregon destroyed Michigan, which Vegas kept at 20th last week.
Games to watch: Southern Cal heads to Nebraska, one of Vegas's most undervalued teams. Boston College is at Georgia Tech, another team Vegas was high on early. Florida State, which Vegas still likes quite a bit, is at Colorado.

I always take the good with the bad... Vegas was dumb, leaving Michigan in the Top 30, however you failed to mention we did have Oregon ranked ahead of the Wolverines. Looking at the coaches and media polls, Oregon was not ranked.

How do you have Texas at 4? Colt McCoy is terrible and they will probably lose to UCF.

how can u still have LSU number 2 after that show they put on saturday night. Yes VT was a little overrated but not that much, LSU is just that good and they deserve to be #1 after after USC sat out a week
