Did Sellers Crush Kennedy?

Uh, yeah, Mike Sellers did crush Kenoy Kennedy. I'm not posting the video so the NFL doesn't hate me, but you can watch it here. Sixty-five thousand people already have. But this fellow does agree with Awful Announcing's use of the word "crush" in the title of the video, and argues "that wasn't a crush, it was a hit. Did you see how fast he got up?" Well, whatever.

The Free-Lance Star says "It was steamroller against bug. Sellers punished Kennedy with a crushing hit...." DCist says Kennedy was "getting his [body parts] introduced to Sellers' competitive new dental plan." Thom Loverro says "The hit was Marion Motley-like. It was Jim Brown-like, Larry Csonka-like, Walter Payton-like."

"Honestly, I don't know how bad it was, because I usually hit people," Sellers said to Loverro and others. "So for me, it wasn't anything different. Apparently, I ran over him from what I understand."

"Yes, Mike, apparently you did," Loverro wrote, which was funny.

Seriously, the Oddsmakers' Top 25.

I need to know before I, you know, make decisions this week.

Who is this chooch, and why is he being allowed to make any videos that don't involve him burning down his car port in a turkey deep fryer incident?

Sellers crushed, obliterated, abused, embarrassed, steamrolled and thoroughly owned Kenoy Kennedy.

And I'm pretty sure Rod Marinelli had a smile on his face after the hit. Someone with HD-DVR needs to check the replay.

Almost perfect. Perfect would have been if Kennedy had then been called for a penalty for tripping ... which if you watch what he did -- would have been appropriate. But hey, that was some hit. Play of the week.

Better than Sellers running over Dawkins... but no more satisfying!

Kennedy got rocked.. he stinks. What about Sean Taylor's block on Thrash's return? He took that sucker out

I was driving home on route 66 yesterday and due to the light traffic (Columbus Day) I actually hit 90 MPH at one point. In the blink of an eye, some sort of bug left a 1-inch, greenish, slimy splat mark on my windshield. Without hesitation I remarked, "Sorry Kenoy."

who is the maker of that video and how much blow is he on?

Posted by: dcskinswiz | October 9, 2007 03:40 PM

Good call on the blow. If you have another 5 minutes to call check out his video about the Bonaduce/Fairplay thing.
