Gregg Doyel's Mohawk

Applause, applause.
I can hardly count any more the number of mohawks I've written about on this site. At a minimum, they include the mohawks of Rock Cartwright, Mike Green, Nick Young, Andray Blatche, DeShawn Stevenson and Dmitri Young's son.
But never a media member. Something I've often considered, with regret. Why, I've wondered, are media members so comparatively tame with their hairstyles when compared to the athletes they cover?
Well, put that sad question to rest. Here's CBSSports.com's Gregg Doyel, modeling his mohawk, which he sometimes refers to as the "Bald Eagle."
"I'll be bald within five years," he said. "I better have fun while I can."
Here here. And tell him he looks like Chuck Liddell. He likes that.

Plus, he spells his first name with 3 Gs....not sure what that means, but it can't be good.

I was often referred to as the "Bald Eagle" in my adolescents.
I didn't have a mohawk though.

The mohawk means nothing until he gets Koei-Kan tattooed on his dome.

Dan...I think you should make at least one appearance in the afro wig that Ovie wears in your blog report.

He says he'll be bald within five years? Has he seen his hairline lately? In the words of Elaine Benes to George, "YOU'RE BALD!"
