Patriots at the Food Court
Curious what NFL players do 44 hours before the Super Bowl?
Well, if they're named Donte Stallworth and Chad Jackson, they hang out in front of the Panda Express at the Scottsdale Fashion Square food court.
There was a group of about eight Patriots there in the Food Court around 8 pm last night, but those were the only two I recognized. Two teenage girls went up to get Donte Stallworth's autograph on their Hollister shopping bags; one later told me she thought she was going to faint. Then she asked me whose autograph she had just gotten.
I asked Chad Jackson why they were in the Food Court; "just eating dinner," he said.
And in more exciting NFL player news, colleague Jon Forsythe from Washingtonpost.com spotted Adam Archuleta and Jeff George at the Carmen Electra/Sugar Ray party late last night. No word if Dana Stubblefield and Brandon Lloyd also appeared. But we're hearing that Daniel Snyder might be ready to give the free agent dollaz to Mark McGrath.

wow, i think we need to impose a moratorium on hosting any more major sporting events in Arizona. has there been even one interesting story to come out of this week? is there even one shred of culture in the greater Phoenix area? what a wasteland.
