Rich Chvotkin Believes Wallace Got Fouled
Rich Chvotkin's 17-note "Hoyas Win" blast from last year's win over Vanderbilt was no doubt magisterial, and yet "Hoyas Win" has become fairly well expected by this point. Monday's last-second win over Villanova, though, offered something a bit different.
You might need to watch this more than once to get accustomed to the split-screen view and thus to truly enjoy the first 30 seconds. You could close your eyes and just let the words wash over you. Or, like me, you could watch it 10 times. Many thanks to Evan Chvotkin for setting up the video camera at the crucial point, and for syncing up the audio and video, and for making my week. Oh my.

Thanks for that. Not a Hoyas fan, but that was awesome. Gotta love Rich. Also, he called the foul right when the play occurred, so he did believe he got fouled.

First of all, the guy DIDN'T get fouled and second of all, even if he did, it was a touch foul that shouldn't be called in that situation. It was a horse bleep call.

What an awful announcer that he doesn't even mention how debatable the call was. You can still be a homer and say that maybe tbe call shouldn't have been made in that situation.
