Caron's Birthday Party Report
I was at the Big East, although to be honest a birthday party featuring Caron Butler, Carmen Electra and Kim Kardashian is a lot more bloggable than a Big East game featuring Jim Calhoun and a guy dressed like a Mountaineer, but whatever. This is supposed to be a college-hoops-only zone right now, but I'm saying this qualifies as March Madness.
Anyhow, ESPN the Mag has the scoop, including the guest list (Ray Lewis, Etan Thomas, Gilbert Arenas, Darius Songaila, Jason Campbell, Lavar Arrington and Biz Markie), plus the money quote from Electra (Asked what gift she'd given Butler, Carmen Electra replied, "I would probably do a sexy little strip tease for Caron for his birthday, but his wife would have to approve!")
Washingtonian's coverage adds a photo of DeShawn Stevenson and more guests (Oleksiy Pecherov, Vernon Davis, Eddie Jordan).
DCFab!'s post is the most fun, though.
And the WaPo adds this: "Washington Wizard Caron Butler celebrated his 28th birthday in style at downtown's the Park at 14th Thursday night. After a catered sit-down dinner for 40 friends and family members, the small forward was joined by more than 1,000 people, including Carmen Electra, Gilbert Arenas, Jason Campbell, Philippe Cousteau and Kim Kardashian, who sipped Shirley Temples all night."
Except for Gilbert, who presumably was sipping Agent Zeroes.

I'm with Duffman on this one. It looks like someone picked up the cake at Giant on the way over.

Caron had already dropped a few spots when he paid for Kardashian's appearance, but that cake really has me doubting him.

Wiz PR boy Daren Jenkins hosted the childrens room during the party playing host and entertaing the likes of Carons kids as well as many of his teamates children. Jenkins sipped on chocolate milk and enjoyed stories read to him and the other kids like Barney, the Backyardagins, and dora the explorer.

The Giant brand cakes don't look as nice as Charm City but they taste the same.

I heard there was another cake made in Caron's home jersey but it didn't make it to the party because Wizards equipment manager Rob Suller ate it.

March 18, 2008. One of MediaTakeOut.com's readers, who also works for the Sherm Radio morning show at Tennessee State University, told us that Gilbert Arenas is getting it in with Flavor Of Love's Prancer. Apparently Seezinz, also a contestant from Flavor Of Love came on their show and told that she hooked Prancer up with the Washington Wizards baller.

For all the money he laid out for that thing, you would think he would have spring for a non-Crappy cake. Shoot, Charm City cakes is only a couple miles up the road.
