Eddie Jordan's Stuffed Dog

I don't go to Wizards games any more, because I don't go to any games any more, but there are two possibilities for a Wizards postgame.
1) The Wizards lose, and it's really boring.
2) The Wizards win, and something bizarre inevitably happens.
Inevitably. It's like a 97 percent success rate. Here was Sunday's offering, courtesy of the AP's Joseph White:
More comedy from Jordan postgame: Accompanied by his young son, the coach put a small stuffed dog on Antonio Daniels' left shoulder while the guard was doing interviews in the locker room. "Class project," Jordan said before taking a picture. Said Daniels: "It's so hard to concentrate with a dog on my left shoulder."
Yes, the coach of the town's NBA franchise took a picture of a stuffed animal he had just placed on his starting point guard's shoulder during postgame interviews. I asked Wiz PR whiz Zack Bolno what this was all about, and he in turn asked Eddie Jordan.
"Oh, Andy the dog," Jordan said. Duh.
Anyhow, Jordan's daughter Skylar is a second grader at a local public elementary school, and as so many of elementary classes seem to do nowadays, Skylar's class has a sort of stuffed mascot, Andy the dog, who gets to go home with a different classmate every weekend, trips that are documented with photographic evidence. Last weekend was Skylar's turn, and she intended to bring Andy (or possibly Andi) to the Wiz-Hornets game.
But sadly, little Skylar came down with the flu, and so her older brother Jackson--a constant presence at the Verizon Center and possibly the cutest boy in America--took Andy the dog to what has to be that stuffed animal's first NBA contest. The dog posed for pictures with Antonio Daniels, Nick Young and Eddie Jordan's podium. I trust the little boys and girls in Skylar's second grade class are going to need a potty break when they see Andy the dog hanging out on Antonio Daniels's shoulder.

My daughter would be so jealous. When she had her bear for the weekend, all they got to do was go to her brothers CYO basketball game!

When I was in 4th grade our teacher gave us this stuffed foam rock, that looked like a real hunk of granite.
She let us each take it home.
It didn't look like a real hunk of granite at the end of the year though. How sad.
