Georgia Feeling It
Georgia up nine at the half, and all the momentum is in the Dawgs' favor. Jarvis Hayes did halftime interviews while screaming GOOOOOOO DAWGS! The Georgia cheerleaders did a halftime routine to "Girls Girls Girls," and then changed clothes in time for the second half, going from sheer dress things to black hot pants. I missed the halftime show, but I was told that all that was missing was a pole.
Meanwhile, parents and other Georgia supporters were hugging on the concourse, slapping hands and chanting. "We can do this! We can do this! We can do this!" one guy kept screaming.
And the Georgia mascot stampeded to the media entrance, where he stood around and gestured at the security guys. I asked what he wanted.
"I don't know," one of the security guys said. "He doesn't talk."
And Xavier? Couldn't get a shot off before the clock expired at the end of the first half. Players keep looking at the scoreboard. And Stanley Burrell keeps squatting and clapping real hard, which is a clear sign of desperation.
