Pecherov as Stewie
This Ukrainian Stewie thing is certainly nothing new. Stacey King compared Pecherov to the Family Guy character back in the preseason. Months later, Caron Butler agreed, saying ""Look just like him, right? Think about it," back in January. (See also: Stewie doing the Soulja Boy.)
Well, the Wiz were in Chicago again last week, and Pecherov got dunked on pretty enthusiastically, and Comcast SportsyNet Chicago--"taking over the world one regional sports cable network at a time"--decided this would be a good time to superimpose Stewie's head on Pecherov's dunked-upon body. Ivan Carter told the postgame story:
When we walked in [the locker room], most of the players were crowded around a television repeatedly watching a replay of the dunk Andres Nocioni threw down over Wiz rookie Oleksiy Pecherov in the third quarter. You guys may not have seen this because it was on a local broadcast, but not long after the dunk, the TV crew here threw up a freeze-frame shot of the dunk with the face of Stewie from Family Guy super-imposed over Pecherov's head. Hilarious. When it came on, the entire locker room lost it.
Pesh took it all stride. "I don't mind zo much. It happens you know? Darius Songaila was getting dressed next to Pesh and just shook his head and offered some veteran advice. "You are my brother but man, you have to foul him in that situation. You can't let that happen."
So funny. It's going to kill Steinberg that he wasn't here to witness it.
But no worries, I-Dot Carter! The video is on the YouTubes! Here's Pecherov, as Stewie, according to Chicago Comcast SportsyNet. (Superimposition comes around 2 minutes in.)

I've never appreciated Steve Buckhantz and Phil Chenier more than I did after watching that YouTube clip.

Tank, could not agree with you more.
Local Chicago Broadcasters = Tools.

Now, that is just too wrong!!! I am sitting here on lunch break just crying from laughter. You all know you are not right! Leave my Pesch alone!

It's funny but kinda says something about the Chicago broadcasters. Phil and Buck would never do that - they have too much class!

You are so right about that NoVA. Phil and Buck are very classy guys and represent DC sports very well.

Don't hate on Stacey King. This is the highlight of his life after riding MJ and Pippen's jock for a few rings.

hey did you hear that pechs response to songaila about fouling in that situation was, songaila, you think that about every situation

Wiz won the game. It's all that matters. The Bulls were booed off their home court and the loss hurts them in the playoff chase.

Wizards > Bulls...that's all that needs to be said. Also, Macaroni is one of the dirtiest players in basketball and he needs to cut his hair.

That clip was classic by itself, and then you throw in King's comments, and that makes it even better. Funny stuff. That dunk was a classic though. Didnt know Nocioni had hops like that though. Bottom line is, if you are a general NBA fan, or a Bulls fan, you will think this clip is funny/good, but if you are a Wiz fan, you will bag on the commentators, and diss Nocioni. Either way, you HAVE to admit that dunk was nice.
