Play-In Game Goes Local
This tournament will have a local flavor, with at least six teams from D.C./Virginia/Maryland, and now we know that it will have an extremely local start.
The NCAA announced this afternoon that Tuesday's play-in game will be an all-Maryland matchup, featuring Northeast champion Mount St. Mary's against upstart MEAC winner Coppin State in Dayton, although I'd argue that they might as well play it in Catonsville. The winner will presumably move on to play get crushed by North Carolina or UCLA. But at least we know that the first winner of this year's NCAA tournament will have an Atlantic 11 connection.

Huge A11 challenge implications, or at least there would be, if that bastard KC didn't have them both on his dance card.
