The Scene in Denver

By Adam Kilgore, in Denver

Just tipped in Denver. The crowd is late-arriving, but you can forgive them because it is 10:30 local time. The Temple band playing is "Sell Out" by Reel Big Fish, while Michigan State is going with "Spiderwebs" by No Doubt. Early advantage goes to Temple. I wish I had Steinberg's camera, because there's a tuba player in the Michigan State band with a better mustache than the Monopoly man.

And Teddy Valentine is here. As the Washington Times's Patrick Stevens just said, "This day just keep getting better and better."

Dan,

We love you. You know we love you. We're big followers. But a better mustache than the Monopoly Man is quite a step indeed. We at the American Mustache Institute hold Double-M in high regard, and suggest that if you are to use his name to magnify your point, it be done with great care and caution. But if Patrick Stevens' day was "getting better" because of that mustache...well yes, then we have some conjecture worthy of deep analysis.
