Chris Miller is Hardheaded

After a rocky start to his D.C. tenure, treating Blog Show with all the respect LeBron has shown Deshawn Stevenson, Comcast SportsyNet's Chris Miller has grown on me immensely, to the point that I've laughed at his on-air jokes more regularly than with any CSN personality save Michael "Mohawk" Jenkins. Thus, when I post this video of him getting blasted in the face with a basketball, it's with all due sympathy. Love ya, Chris. HT: Awful Announcing.

1. He clearly saw it coming, and did nothing to ward off the attack.

2. He and Chick Hernandez are possibly the worst hosts in DC sports history.

I think all of the CSN personalities are terrible and the DC market should be considered a disgrace. George Michael was the last of the professional sportscasters. Whenever I watch SportsNite, I see and hear Jill Sorenson laugh at terrible jokes and just laugh period. Chick is too busy thinking he's the best thing in the market and Michael Jenkins is just too cool for me. Let me know when there's a respectable source for DC Sports and I'll watch.

"I think all of the CSN personalities are terrible."

You better carve out an exception for Kelli Johnson, or the wrath of Bog-ville will rain upon you.

That's where I stopped reading.

George Michael the last of the pros? I'll take CSN any day of the week.

I haven't watch CSN for a few years. All I remember is that Channel 4 used to cover every sports team in the playoffs and hang-out with George Mason. All I get with CSN ESPN want-a-bee's.

Hold everything! Kelli Johnson is the best...but no other female anchor at CSN is worth watching. None of them know how to read names or their scripts. Give Chris some love for taking a shot to the head. -out.

New to the blog, so can someone just fill me in on why Steinberg calls it "Sportsynet"? Thanks!
