Softball Girls: The Video

As Chico Harlan reported last week and as Lastings Milledge said again this week, the extent of the much-discussed "softball girls" cheers went something like this: "Let's go Austin, Let's Go" [Clap Clap]. I heard an extensive discussion on SportsTalk 980 that was operating under the theory that the Nats were saying "We want a pitcher; not a glass of water!"

I had never seen video or heard audio of the incident until just now, so I figured in case Andy Pollin is reading maybe he'd want to check this out. Indeed, they have chosen the "Let's go [Teammate], Let's Go" [Clap Clap]" device. Of all the great cheers in the world, to settle for that one....

I'm not reading you dolt. I'm busy asking Tony Kornheiser for my career back!

Eye kant reed. And even if I could, I wouldn't read about baseball. I don't know anything about baseball. In fact, I don't know anything about sports. Not even the NFL. I only know about the Redskins. Kornheiser didn't take my career because I never had one.
