Wiz Win: The Video

Let me set the scene: media members often get trapped in their concourse seats right after games like this. Mike Wise and I had gone down to the media room to avoid that, but then we sprinted back through one of the tunnels with 11 seconds left so we could watch the ending. I was completely blocked off, so I focused the camera toward Wise and the crowd. That's where this begins. It ends in the Wiz locker room.

Awesome win, but a side note...
The TNT promos for the game yesterday were interesting. Thought it was interesting that the promos featured the "dynasty" followed by the fineable "throat slash" of Stevenson from Game 4. So, TNT/NBA can advertise that which is illegal according to the NBA rules????

Hmmmm.....

Nice to see the Lebron bias all over the media, that Cavs lose the game as Lebron misses on layup. Ummmm ... if you were watching the game, the Wiz were leading for almost the whole game except for the last two minutes when they went up 5. Wizards won a hard fought victory that they out-played the Cavs start to finish. See ya back in Cleveland!!!!

Great win for the Wiz. And yea the media hates the Wizards. At least I can be thankful I saw most of the game on Comcast rather than the national broadcast. Hey Barkley - how does that crow taste?

Did any of you see the opening jump of the game? They threw the ball right to Z. Worst jump I've ever seen. And of course they don't call it back.

I bet they'll say that Darius hit Lebron with a 'closed fist' and that will some how become true.

Wow, what a great video, Dan. Maybe if Game 6 goes down to the wire, you can get footage of the concessions area when the last shot is taken. Or maybe the men's room.

Ha. FYI, I'm not allowed to publish game footage. That's why I wanted to focus on the fans. But point taken.

Are the rules different with NBA and NCAA games? Because I recall plenty of game action video used in some of Wise's Maryland and American videos.

Dan, lots of us like all the footage we can get.

What a bunch of thugs. Despicable.

Does anyone have video of that 5 step (no-call) travel Lebron had. He dribbled once at the 3-point line and ran 5 steps for a layup. The NBA is a crock. The cool Cavs fans I know admit it, the loser ones throw out retarded 'thug' comments. Our players give so much financially and personally to the DC community it's ridiculous.

I want TVs IN the Verizon Center restrooms NOW. I shall suggest this during my next survey with Chairman Abe.

1. If that ain't hard fought, I don't know what is.

2. Any commercial use or distribution of this telecast without the express written consent of the NBA is strictly prohibited.
