Neighborhood Bonding

With much civic pride, Houston has named certain areas of its city and hung appropriate banners about.

The downtown skyscraper area is called "The Skyline District." A few blocks over is "The Museum District," for obvious reasons.

I'm not saying my hotel is in a bad part of town, but let's just say it could be called "The Bail Bonds District." My hotel is triangulated by three of them within spitting distance.

I'm sure it's because the Harris County Courthouse is only a couple of blocks over. At least, I hope that's the reason.
