More County Students Taking AP Exams; Scores Increasing

The county school system has just posted the latest Advanced Placement (AP) data, showing that Fairfax students are taking greater numbers of AP examinations and increasing overall achievement by posting higher scores on exams. See the data at www.fcps.edu/mediapub/pressrel/083005a.htm.

Seems like no one cares about these blogs. I think its the subject matter. People blog about things they feel strongly about. The issues being posted here are really non-issues. Put some explosive stuff up here, like "How do you feel about traffic in the county?"

That's generally true of this blog but education is a big deal. I'm worried about the delegate race in Va.'s 67th, where it seems to me Chris Craddock has attached himself to the "no sex ed" and "let's teach the creation story in science class" crowd.

Give this blog a chance! It's new and finding its way. There was education news on test scores. When there is news about traffic or candidates, I'm sure it'll be posted.
