Fairfax Urban Rescue Unit Heading for Texas

Virginia Task Force 1, Fairfax County Fire and Rescue Department's Urban Search and Rescue team has been activated and will travel to a staging area in Fort Worth, anticipating the arrival of Hurricane Rita. The Type III, 35-person team was scheduled to depart at noon today.
