Men Are Nurses Too

I play a lot of sports and have ended up on the ER or urgent care a couple times as a result of injuries. More than half the time, I've been seen by male nurses. I think it is more the name "nurse" that makes one think of the feminine and the maternal; perhaps that name itself is a little outdated, sort of like "mailman" became "mail carrier" or how "stewardess" became the more accurate "flight attendant."
