Park Authority Board Sets 2006 Meeting Dates

The county Park Authority board has announced its meeting schedule for next year.

The 12-member board is scheduled to meet Jan. 11 and 25, Feb. 8 and 22, March 8 and 22, April 12 and 26, May 10 and 24, June 14 and 28, July 12 and 26, Sept. 13 and 27, Oct. 11 and 25, Nov. 2 (committee only) and 8 and Dec. 6 (committee only) and 13.

The board sets policy and establishes priorities for the park agency.

Meetings are at 7:30 p.m. in the Herrity Building, 12055 Government Center Pkwy., Fairfax. Agendas and materials can be viewed at the Herrity Building during regular business hours or, beginning in January, online at http://www.fairfaxcounty.gov/parks .
