Fairfax First Reponders Recognized For Valor

Last week marked the Fairfax County Chamber of Commerce's annual Valor Awards and 51 fire, police and rescue personnel were awarded for bravery. An article about the awards and a list of recipients is in this week's Fairfax Extra.

Congruatulations to the award winners, but also to all of the police, fire, and rescue personnel of Fairfax County. We appreciate your daily actions on our behalf and thank you.

We do tend to take all of our public servants for granted, and we should not.
