Plan Calls For Affordable Residences at Former Lorton Correction Complex
Remember "The Prisoner," the 1960s BBC TV series about a secret agent who is kidnapped and forced to live in what appears to be a seaside resort but is, in fact, a prison?
Lorton may soon offer something that seems the flipside of that, for unsecret agents. As reported in this week's Fairfax Extra cover story, a citizens panel has a proposal it hopes will attract developers to take what still looks like a prison and turn it into a residential village.
