Relief Fund for Flood Victims

Want to help flood victims? Today's Fairfax Extra reports that a relief fund has been established for residents of the Arlington Terrace neighborhood of Alexandria that was hit hard. Make checks payable to United Community Ministries and send to 7511 Fordson Rd., Alexandria, Va. 22036. "Huntington Disaster Relief Fund" should appear on the check's memo line. It's great that everyone is rallying around us, to help out the community. What would be great is if the government launched an independent probe into what caused the flood. The 8 foot + wall of water that hit our homes was not natural.
